She does exist! I have been totally non-existent lately. I'm actually excited for school to start next week and things to calm down! Is that said I think things will calm down when school starts? It will though ;) Anyway I'm here to share my classroom. It's mostly done... there are of course some things that need to be finished and improved, but for the most part finished! They are totally not in order which makes me sad, but it's a huge pain to move them around, so bear with me! :)

I so wanted to use black butcher paper on my bulletin boards to go with all my bright decorations, but I let my friend who was helping me put the paper up talk me out of it. She thought it would be too dark. I'm kicking myself right now because it DOES look awesome. I absolutely love your room!
I'm sure you are as bright as your room!! Your room could be on the cover of a teaching magazine! BRAVO! Stop by and visit anytime!
Love all the bright colors! Wish I had that much wall space in my classroom : ) Thanks for sharing ideas!

Wow ! That's very inspiring. Your room is so beautiful. I wish I had one like yours !
I'd like to ask you a question : what's the name of the font you use on your banner (the colored one) ? I find it very funny and i'd like to use it because I can't use your docs. I have to translate them in french for my students (otherwise they would'nt understand anything).
Thank you for your great job.
Do you have a template for the large lesson plan you have on your desk?
I love the "Where Are We" Chart. Do you have it as a freebie??

Oh--one question: is that butcher paper, fabric, or contact paper on your whiteboard? Just curious! Thanks :)

Your room is beautiful, and your comment about painting your cabinets reminded me of something we are going to try in our classroom this year: CONTACT PAPER! We have red, orange, green and yellow cabinets and we are planning to cover them with easy to remove contact paper. Not sure, but it might work for you as well!!
Bright and colorful!! Love it!!
I'm hanging puffs too!!!
so cool...

Looks A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
Love the black and bright combo! I had a "jungle" theme for several years and got sick of all those darn monkeys. I havent posted classroom pics yet...but I streamlined my jungle stuff into black and bright as well. :) FUN! Looks awesome...congrats

Loving your very organized, beautiful and yet simplistic room. Kinda a dream come true for me.
I was wondering where you got your extra supplies storage area bins. I am looking for something similar but have not been successful.

LOVE your room! So fabulous! Can I ask where you bought the organizational toolbox that sits behind your desk with all your office supplies (i.e. paperclips, rubber bands, etc.) I am looking for something exactly like that and would love to know where you got it!
Thanks, Briana
I LOVE all the bright colors! I did bright colors in my room too this year! My plan is to slowly collect more colorful things as the year progresses ... I would have gone broke this summer if I didn't pace myself!
Classroom decor well done!!!!
I'm trying to find your before reading, during reading, after reading hand out for parent night! Where is it?
Your ideas are awesome. Why flip flop teacher? That's interesting name. It caught my attention because I only wish I could teach in my flip flops...Lol
I am a huge fan! Love your classroom set up and design. You're inspiring me to become more bright and organized. Where did you get the extra supplies storage (near your desk) and the holder for your lesson plans?
-Erica
I am also hoping to find out where you got the holder stand for your lesson plans! It's just what I need! :)

I love this classroom!! I'm wanting to use the neon and black colors this year and I love how you have black paper on the whiteboards. Did you have a problem with the paper falling off or the magnets from the behavior board not staying up? I would love any input or suggestions you may have. Thanks!

Where did you find the black shelves you have at the end of your students' desks?
How did you get the black paper on the boards? Was it magnetic? I'm trying to do the same thing.
